About This PDF Merger
TextTool.in PDF Merger combines multiple PDF documents into one downloadable file. Select your documents, arrange their order, and merge them directly in your browser. Your PDF contents are processed locally instead of being uploaded to a remote merging service.
- Source preservation: Original files on your device are never modified or overwritten.
- Mixed page sizes: Each copied page retains its own original dimensions and orientation without rasterization.
- Honest feature disclosure: Merging separate PDFs copies page trees into a new document container. Existing cryptographic digital signatures are invalidated when documents are combined, and certain document-level structures (such as cross-document bookmarks, embedded scripts, or complex XFA forms) may not carry over. Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked before merging.
Local Privacy & Browser Architecture
- Zero server uploads: File bytes are read strictly via your browser's local
FileReader/ArrayBufferAPIs. - No hidden telemetry: Filenames, page text, and document metadata are never transmitted to any analytics endpoint or external server.
- CDN library note: When loaded online, the standard client-side
pdf-libandPDF.jsscripts are fetched once from a version-pinned CDN, while all document parsing and merging happen entirely inside your device's RAM.
